Offline Applications & Appeals
The RTI applications are also received in the Directorate General of Shipping by post or hand delivery. The Nodal Officer forward the applications to the concerned CPIO physically. The request then is examined by CPIO and replied to the applicant by post/email and the same is disposed off. Nodal Officer monitors the timely disposed of the application.
All RTI appeals on the RTI replies issued by CPIO received physically by the Nodal Officer of RTI Branch, are then forwarded to the concerned First Appellate Authority (FAA) for examination and disposal within the prescribed time limit. Nodal Officer monitors the timely disposed of the Appeals.
