Work Of Coordination Branch
- To coordinate between the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and Directorate & its Allied Offices.
- To coordinate between the other Ministries of Government of India and Directorate & its Allied Offices.
- To coordinate between the State Governments and Directorate & its Allied Offices.
- To coordinate between the different wings and branches of Directorate & its Allied Offices.
- To analyse the inputs received from Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, different Ministries of Government of India, State Governments and submit those to different wings and branches for further analysis and report.
- To deal with the matter related to VIP references and DO letters received from Ministry of PSW, New Delhi.
- To deal with court cases matters and sending reports.
- To deal with the matter related to Hindi Timahi report and Monthly DO letter.
- To deal with the matter related to Parliament Questions received from Ministry of PSW, New Delhi.
- Coordination of meetings with the shipping industry, Principal Officers of Mercantile Marine Departments, Standing Core Committee, and Parliamentary Standing Committee.
- Collection, compilation, and submission of periodical reports to the Ministry, including the Annual Report and Administrative Yearbook.
- Ensuring effective communication and collaboration between various stakeholders within the shipping sector.
