The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, GoI has allocated budget for the Directorate General of Shipping and its allied offices for the financial year 2024-25 for a sum of Rs. 1,76,10,00,000/-.

The source of allocation of funds is from the consolidated fund of India through the Budget passed by the Parliament.

The Directorate General of Shipping and its allied/subordinate offices has allocated an amount of Rs. 1,50,34,00,000/- under object head Revenue and Rs. 25,76,00,000/- under object head Capital Expenditure.

A fund of Rs. 88,00,00,000/- has been allocated under ship building financial assistance policy for the financial year 2024-2025.
