Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance with International Standards:
Ensuring adherence to safety requirements outlined by the SOLAS Convention (Safety of Life at Sea) and IMO regulations. - Inspection and Certification:
Conducting regular inspections and issuing certifications for safety equipment onboard vessels, such as lifeboats, life jackets, rafts, and distress signaling devices, to guarantee their functionality during emergencies.
